Iron Increasing productivity and operating flexibility while generating energy savings through reduced coke rates
Melting Oxygen and oxyfuel combustion systems play a key role in iron production in both cupola and rotary furnaces. Oxygen enrichment or oxygen lancing in cupola furnaces leads to increased productivity and flexibility as well as reduced coke rates combined with blast air and off-gas reductions. In rotary furnaces, oxyfuel is sometimes the only way to produce iron economically.
Casting Safe and efficient transfer of liquid iron from the melt shop to the casting line is important to achieve high-quality casting products. Properly conditioned iron in well heated transfer ladles plays an important role in achieving this target. Oxyfuel-heated ladles are an efficient and effective way of maintaining transfer heat.
Gas supply We supply the full spectrum of industrial and speciality gases required for iron foundry processes in cylinder or bulk form. Alternatively, you could opt for one of our ECOVAR® on-site supply solutions designed to the highest safety and reliability standards.
Services Various industrial gases might be stored in different forms and at different locations in your plant. With our ACCURA and SECCURA solutions you will have fully automated tracking and monitoring possibilities and you will ensure never to run out of gas and to risk production stops.
