Many processing steps apply heat to a workpiece. This can affect dimensions and material structure. Cooling time is required to exclude the possibility of overheating. The cooling window can be reduced if carbon dioxide (CO2) snow or liquid nitrogen (LIN) are used as cooling agents.
We developed our LINSPRAY® carbon dioxide cooling process to use in conjunction with thermal spraying. It is, however, equally effective at temperature control during grinding, welding and machining.
Suitable for specific components and materials:
Thin-walled components
Components with poor thermal conductivity
Oxide-sensitive spray materials
Components with varying heat expansion rates
Different sized cooling nozzles to tailor cooling power to individual needs
Nozzles for a fanned or focused cooling effect
Nozzle adaption kit and handling video
Customised CO2 gas supply systems
