Shell Eco-marathon 2015

For this years Shell Eco Marathon (SEM) Americas, Linde supported Shell at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan. As a global partner of the (SEM), Linde organized several displays of how our company supplies and uses hydrogen; as well as other products we produce. From organizing the display of a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, to performing cryogenic demonstrations with liquid nitrogen, the Linde team worked tirelessly to make sure everything went smoothly.

Along with our presence in the Paddock's, Linde Engineers assisted students with the safety and functionality of their hydrogen & compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel systems. During the vehicle runs, Linde also monitored the fuel efficiency of both hydrogen and CNG teams.

This is the second year Linde America's has participated in this event. One of the goals was to recruit potential engineers for Linde's Career Development Programs, and to increases the publics awareness of Linde as a global leader in gases and engineering. We look forward to working with Shell in the future on this innovative and fun event.
